1. Introduction

Simply Stage AI ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you use our Service. This policy complies with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable US state privacy laws.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly (name, email address, company name, phone number, and payment information), information generated through your use of the Service (uploaded photos, AI-generated results, usage data, and job history), and technical information (IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and cookies).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: provide and improve the Service; process payments and manage your subscription; send transactional emails (receipts, credit alerts, account notifications); respond to your inquiries and support requests; detect and prevent fraud or abuse; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Photos and Generated Images

Photos you upload are processed by our AI systems solely to generate the requested output. We store your original photos and generated results to provide your job history and allow re-downloading. Your photos are never used to train AI models, shared with third parties for their benefit, or used for any purpose beyond providing the Service.

5. Data Sharing

We share your information only with: payment processors (Stripe) to handle billing; cloud infrastructure providers to host and process data; and email service providers to send transactional emails. All third-party processors are contractually required to protect your information. We may disclose information when required by law.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward. Uploaded photos and generated images are retained indefinitely to support your job history. Payment records are retained as required by law. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

7. Your Rights (Canada — PIPEDA)

Under PIPEDA, you have the right to: access your personal information; correct inaccurate information; withdraw consent for certain uses; and lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@simplystageai.com.

8. Your Rights (United States)

Depending on your state, you may have rights under applicable state privacy laws (including California's CCPA/CPRA) to access, correct, delete, or opt out of the sale of your personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise applicable rights, contact us at hello@simplystageai.com.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and authentication. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect the functionality of the Service.

10. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
